Kapolyi Law Firm Advises Pink Woman on Its Expansion in Hungary

Greek Fashion Brand to Operate 36 Stores Across Hungary by End of 2026

Kapolyi Law Firm is providing comprehensive legal support to Greece-based Intrafashion Group as it enters the Hungarian market and develops a nationwide retail network for Pink Woman, the group’s fashion brand. The first Pink Woman stores have already opened in Budapest and at several locations outside the capital. By the end of 2026, the brand expects to operate 36 stores across Hungary.

The rollout is one of the most significant nationwide retail expansion projects in the Hungarian market. Because the stores are opening in shopping centers and other prime retail locations, the expansion involves numerous negotiations and contracting processes running in parallel—primarily with the properties’ landlords, including some of Hungary’s leading retail real estate owners and operators. Kapolyi Law Firm has advised on the project since the initial planning stages, helping establish the appropriate legal and contractual framework for the market entry and coordinating the legal work required for each store opening as tenant counsel.

In addition to the real estate transactions for the individual stores, the firm is supporting the launch of Pink Woman’s Hungarian operations on corporate, employment, and commercial law matters. The engagement is intended to lay the groundwork for the brand’s stable, long-term presence in Hungary and therefore requires a broad, integrated range of legal services.

Given the cross-border nature of the engagement, Kapolyi Law Firm works closely with Intrafashion Group’s decision-makers and advisors in Greece. A central focus is ensuring that the group’s international business requirements are properly aligned with Hungarian law and established practices in the country’s retail real estate market.

“Pink Woman’s expansion in Hungary is a complex, fast-moving project. Within a very short timeframe, we have had to establish—and continue to refine—the contractual and operating terms for dozens of locations in a coordinated manner. Speed is critical, but consistency is equally important: the solutions must support each individual store opening while also providing a solid foundation for the network’s long-term operation. We are proud that Intrafashion Group selected us as its strategic legal advisor and that we can help bring Pink Woman, a highly successful brand, to the Hungarian market,” said Sándor Habóczky, partner at Kapolyi Law Firm and head of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Practice Group.

The Kapolyi Law Firm project team is led by Sándor Habóczky and includes Martin Gortva, Dalma Dajka, and Aliz Orbán. In addition to managing the negotiations and agreements for each location, the team is overseeing the legal coordination of the entire Hungarian expansion.
