Dániel Orosz to Head Kapolyi Law Firm’s Corporate and M&A Practice Group

Dániel Orosz has joined Kapolyi Law Firm as Head of the firm’s Corporate and M&A Practice  Group. He brings significant domestic and international experience in M&A, corporate, commercial and compliance matters. His arrival also further strengthens the firm’s capabilities in legal advisory work related to the energy sector.

Dániel joins Kapolyi Law Firm with more than 15 years of experience gained both in private practice and in-house. Throughout his career, he has advised clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and commercial arrangements, as well as compliance and energy industry related matters.

Before joining Kapolyi Law Firm, Dániel worked in the M&A and Corporate Group of Baker McKenzie, where he held a local partner position in his final financial year. His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, telecommunications, automotive, retail and energy.

His energy sector experience is a particularly valuable addition to the firm. Dániel has worked on energy-related transactions as well as on the corporate side in conventional and renewable energy projects (including transaction related to power plants and advising clients in regulatory matters).

Dániel Orosz obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University, passed the Hungarian bar exam in 2010, and also completed specialized studies in EU law in Hungary and abroad. He is fluent in English and German.
