EXPERIENCE
Head of the Competition Law Team and Professional Lead of Compliance Services at Kapolyi Law Firm. He has more than 18 years of experience advising domestic and international corporate clients on competition law, compliance, commercial law and intellectual property matters.
Dávid Adamov has been leading Kapolyi Law Firm’s competition law team and overseeing the firm’s compliance services since 1 January 2026.
Prior to joining Kapolyi Law Firm, he worked at leading international law firms, including Baker & McKenzie and Schönherr, where he was involved in global and multi-jurisdictional competition law and compliance projects and participated in legal due diligence processes in the context of M&A transactions.
Dávid also has substantial in-house experience. As a designated compliance officer for the MOL Group, he was responsible for compliance-related matters in six countries, including Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Russia. His responsibilities covered commercial law, competition law, consumer protection and data protection compliance, as well as risk management projects, internal compliance audits, and the annual training of more than 500 employees.
He subsequently worked as an independent attorney, providing business-oriented competition law and compliance advice to corporate clients. His work included the design and implementation of complex compliance systems, the operation of whistleblowing channels, and the representation of large corporations and SMEs in proceedings before the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH).
His practice spans a wide range of industries, with particular focus on the energy, construction, telecommunications, FMCG, automotive, e-commerce and innovative healthcare services sectors.
Dávid is also actively engaged in teaching and publishing. He has lectured at several Hungarian universities on competition law, ESG compliance systems, corporate governance and integrity, and he was the author and lecturer of the course “Compliance in Practice” at the Faculty of Law at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. His articles on corporate compliance and sustainability due diligence have been published, among others, by Legal 500 and CEE Legal Matters.

EXPERIENCE
Since July 2025, she has been an attorney at Kapolyi Law Firm and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets, Corporate Law, and M&A practice groups.
During her university years, she worked as a legal intern at a law firm, where she gained experience in various fields of civil law, primarily in corporate and real estate law, and became familiar with the fundamentals of the legal profession.
After obtaining her law degree, she began her career as a legal counsel at the legal department of a domestic listed company, where she became acquainted with the day-to-day operations of publicly traded companies, decision-making processes, and capital market regulatory requirements. She gained comprehensive professional experience in complex compliance matters and participated in cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions.
She subsequently spent more than six years at AegisLegal Law Firm as a trainee lawyer, primarily focusing on capital markets and corporate law. She took part in several stock exchange listings, provided ongoing legal support to listed companies, contributed to the development of holding structures, and gained experience in the field of trust and asset management.

Kitti is the Head Of IT/ IP, Media and Advertising Law and Data Protection Practice Group at Kapolyi Law Firm.
Kitti worked continuously as an intern at Hungarian-owned law firms alongside her university studies, gaining over ten years of experience in data protection law, intellectual property law, IT law, and media, marketing, and advertising law from the beginning of her legal education. Throughout her career, she has acquired extensive experience in corporate law, commercial law, competition law, and capital markets law, including compliance, internal audits, and licensing procedures.
BACKGROUND
She obtained her law degree from Pázmány Péter Catholic University Faculty of Law and Political Sciences with cum laude honors. During her studies, she was awarded an Erasmus scholarship and studied at the Université Catholique de Lille Faculty of Law, where she deepened her knowledge of international and European business law in English and French.
She is fluent in English and has limited working proficiency in French.

Dr. Viktor Domonkos, an attorney-at-law at Kapolyi Law Firm, is a member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Group.
He has more than four years of professional experience in dispute resolution, primarily in litigation. He has gained extensive practice in civil, commercial, administrative and labour law disputes, as well as in non-contentious proceedings (including enforcement, bankruptcy, liquidation, payment order and notarial procedures). He has also represented clients in arbitral proceedings (HCCI, ICC) and regularly provides legal advice in relation to legal disputes.
He has experience in banking and finance, capital markets, commercial, employment, construction, real estate, IT/IP, tax and energy-related disputes. He joined Kapolyi Law Firm in 2024, having previously gained dispute resolution experience at an international law firm.

He started his professional career as a trainee lawyer at Allen&Overy in Budapest in 2008, after which he worked in the tax group of DLA Piper. From 2015, he headed the tax group of Lakatos, Köves & Partners Law Firm (former Clifford Chance). He joined Kapolyi Law Office as a partner in 2024.
During his professional career, he has advised on a number of cross-border and domestic transactions, including high-value commercial real estate acquisitions, high profile M&A transactions and financing transactions, securities offerings.
He has successfully represented clients in disputes involving serious tax assessments.

Dr. Balázs Kántor obtained his law degree from the Eötvös Loránd University, and subsequently qualified as a tax advisor in the framework of a training organised by the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors.

During university studies she worked as a trainee lawyer in several Hungarian owned law firm, her duties included assistance in commercial acts, drafting and giving legal advice to clients.
After graduation she started working as a Junior Associate at a Law Firm specialized in Sports Law, where she worked with professional athletes, giving them legal advice. She also gained knowledge in the fields of Contract Law, Real Estate Law and Labor Law. Furthermore, she took part in winding up proceedings.
She started working in the Employment, Real Estate and Banking and Finance practice groups at Kapolyi Law Firm in the summer of 2019 and became the head of Employment practice group from January 2023 after successfully completing her bar exam in autumn, 2022.
She was involved in several licensing procedures before the Hungarian National Bank, including establishment of a credit institution, and assisted in the personal licensing of senior executives.
